What is Beam Search?
A heuristic search algorithm used to decode output sequences in models.
Beam search explores a graph by expanding the most promising nodes in a limited set, called the beam width. It strikes a balance between the greediness of single-token selection and the computational cost of exhaustive sequence evaluation.
